AI Safety Hackathon - Meta x Entrepreneur First

This was a 36-hour AI safety hackathon organized by Meta AI and Entrepreneur First. Out of a pool of 500 candidates, a preselection process narrowed the number of participants to 40. Our team of 5 developed a cutting-edge watermarking solution for images generated by AI models. Owners of proprietary generative AI models lack the ability to profit from market segmentation: free or personal users can easily sidestep their Terms of Service while flying under the radar. We created an invisible watermarking solution resistant to attacks, embedded in the structure of the image rather than in easily removed pixel-level data. We won the hackathon with the unanimous approval of the jury. Seal it, don’t steal it!
